Another of your great videos, that inspires gratitude for the work you do and hope for the future of our biodiversity.
Such an amazingly positive video, in spite of the horrific destruction of habitats ongoing in Madagascar. Here, one of our UK preeminent scientific organisations is leading vital work to record and ideally preserve the huge range of plants and fungi still remaining, in this uniquely biodiverse island, but doing so in the context of and recognising the needs of the local Malagasy people. This work reminds me of why I feel so incredibly fortunate to be able to visit Kew Gardens itself and see the work done there to spread the word about our miraculous global fauna. Thank you so much, Kew.
I am going to guess that the gardener in the thumbnail pollinates it. Even as far south as Richmond upon Thames, I bet you don't have the right moths.
I love kew and cool to see the science behind the orchid
1 month to go .. excited got booked my tickets already.. see yea Kew garden
Spectacular, Thank you
What you say is very interesting! Thank you 😀
Who can join kew ?

My mum and I visited Kew yesterday. It was incredible. Such a beautiful place to visit especially if you are interested in our plants on this planet 🌎 🌱🪴
Love this talk. Thanks Jane what info, I will defo be trying the courgette companion, mine was just gobbled up before it took off. 😏
Too short! i need at least 2 hours on this :)
I imagine William Jackson Hooker and Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward standing at the docks getting the first Wardian case back from Australia and how transformed our world has become because of their work. Amazing!
My trip is to Kew Gardens
Canada has a dark wild rice which grows in swamp areas of the prairies provinces. I wonder if Kew could grow it. It has a very nutty taste and I like it better than white or brown rice.
